The Christian athlete.
1 Corinthians 9:25 ‘And everyone who contends for the prize is self controlled in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.’
An athlete must train hard;
keep a disciplined lifestyle; and
be focused on the race.
The Christian runs for the prize of pleasing Him
who loved us and gave Himself for us.
